I love to write stories whether book length or short quips and post them here for you all to read. This is the most obvious statement and when I look at my ten years of being on either IMVU or Second Life, I could happily say my own virtual world could have it’s own memoirs of my time online. I have had my fair share of positive and negative moments whether it was in-character for roleplay or just being me, I have experienced a lot.
Also what is with the case of the exes? Soon as I make a note I am single, they all come flocking back! Except 3 which I’m glad for, but the rest of them? I do not want a boyfriend, this is a new chapter in my life and I wish to focus on me. I want to be at my highest peak of success/career and personal happiness before I even think of dating someone again ohh and while travelling the world to my favourite destinations (Japan, Paris, Disney world…to name a few).
I am still forever grateful to my girls Katie, Lana and Aria for reaching out to me during my times of need and seeking advice, they haven’t been angry or offering vengeance rather they been giving sole advice, hope and ears to listen to my constant, flailing thoughts that are an emotional tumult even now.
Side note: Cutesy girls with child-like faces while totally kinked up needs to go, you don’t see that bs in reality so the whole trend going off on Second Life (not on IMVU thank God!) needs to desist, there is one thing to look “pure” and Lolita inspired but these girls just look like young girls, stop encouraging the pedos to come out of their dank caves!
Featuring my five likes for this very busy week;
Family fuelled weekend, aunts from New Zealand are here and spent Friday, Saturday and today with mum’s side.
Red Rooster’s cheesy nuggets, these are a cheeky snack and are so nom during cold days
My imagination, it’s wide open whether through doing pictures on SL or continuing my Seven realms trilogy.
No more tension, it’s been sealed off and clearing out the mental vents and because of it, I’m definitely back to my chirpy self again and people are noticing
Golden State Warriors won the season! And the trophy is back in the bay! #Dubnation
Three years I have called this cottage home on Second Life and it has been my rosy bubble away from all the wastelands and craziness that ensures from other residents in the virtual universe.
My dining table is always changing, depending on what is released by my favourite creators for events, this picture is last month featuring cutesy food made by Tentacio or Random matter. The ginger and blue birds are from Jian’s main store, during a Fifty linden release.
I even changed the wardrobe that I had from Birdy’s Boudoir to Nomi’s Princess closet that was released for the Gacha Gardens. It is more prim heavy but it had more detail and its pink, of course it had to be part of my bedroom.
Can you believe the above photo was taken outside of my cottage using the books background by Astralia, I love to read in reality and reading books with a cat on my lap, makes it even better. Pose is by Le Poppycock which features the cat on my chest, found at the September round of The Liason Collective.
I have taken a couple of photos featuring my beloved rug in my bedroom over the past two years, I have just changed things surrounding the pouf in the middle. Usually what is on the pink rug reflects my hobbies, one side is make-up, the other side is painting and books. New additions are gaming console, ramen and journals.
I always take picture of my desk but not on the other side of it where I have added more cute decor items from gachas. The Arcade opened again this month and I barely bought anything except the dolls by Garbaggio, my collection is ever expanding. The hen and her chick, lucky cat, pink mailbox are by MishMish, the ginger kitten in a hen outfit is by Parfait, clipboards are Tres Blah, ramen is Random matter.
When reality is too much, I run away into virtual and fantasy because it is the only thing that is stable and where my imagination can fly without concern.
That has been my thought pattern since last Friday, my moods come and go in great highs and terrible lows. I am back on Second Life, taking pictures in between my story writing too. The above picture is in Backdrop city and it was after I had seen the film Ready Player One, I found a gamer setting and was inspired to take a pic with my Moon bunnies by Half-deer. Top is Epoch, hair is Truh, garter is Dirty Stories, harness is Cynful.
This was the first photo I took when I returned to Second Life after a 1.5 month-ish break and though I do not get any high favourites like I used to do, I still have fun when the right spark smacks into me and gives me an idea for a photo. I am wearing Runaway hair, the bikini is by Vincue, earrings are Random Matter and the pose is Foxcity as always. I love to take photos inside my cottage, a lot of my acquaintances in-world have complimented at how pink and cute it is, when there is darkness brighten up a room!
I love the above photo and I think it’s because I surrounded myself in not only a very pink scene but I have groups of sleeping kittens around my avatar and bootchi’s can make anyone’s day better. It is is medically proven that in the company of a feline, you feel more relaxed and less stressed. Maybe that is why my Skitty has been in my room every evening before I go to bed. My outfit is purely made by Giz Seorn and bought at the latest Uber round.
Backdrops that are made by the designers in-world help me in a lot of ways, it saves me from hunting down picturesque sims for a photo, I can rez them on my land without being disturbed by others and they are usually really pretty backgrounds that can go well with my outfit. The above background is made by Foxcity, she has been making a lot of backdrops with her bento poses lately and I have been happily selecting my favourite ones. Dress is Candydoll, hair is Dela, necklace is Bauhaus movement and my Meowl is by Hextraordinary.
I have been procrastinating in continuing book 1 of my Seven Realms trilogy, don’t get me wrong I have the scenes play out in my head before and after work when I have my soundtrack playlist blasting into my ears. But when it comes to writing the next chapter and written in a way that captures an audience where the genre is vastly populated and full of amazing authors who have wider expanses of imagination than I, it can be difficult…
Because of my procrastination and also my OCD of colour when it comes to my personal Instagram (I have deleted and re-shared photos of memories this past week, I think I need help in controlling this) I have been diverting from writing and wound up making outfits on IMVU or new Sailor Senshi/scouts on Dolldivine.com. I also can you believe it, broke my break of being off Second Life and logged on this afternoon to take photos, another creative outlet of mine.
For the past four years, I have attended this event in-world called Fantasy Faire and it is a fundraiser for cancer, it is also very popular and successful for raising enough funds to go to the American Cancer society. The people are the same and I refuse to go to clubs where there are many people, I have no time for toxic environments because these people who live online, will not ever change unless it is apparently life-changing.
On the side I have also started writing an anime style story with episode titles instead of chapters, featuring the new characters that I created on Dolldivine.com, my leading character is Sailor Lumiere or Hina-Ai Ryuuchi, a simple housekeeper but also a soldier for love and justice who also utilises the power of the Moon, but only a sliver of it. I have written Episode 1 already and thinking of ideas for the next episode while also trying to motivate myself to write Chapter 10 for Book 1 of my trilogy.
See what I mean? My brain is scattered and OCD/ADHD is killing me when it comes to colour on my social media. Maybe I should take a dose of that rescue remedy or something to help me focus, it is amazing that I managed to stay focus at work with all that is going on around me and in my brain.
I have been enjoying taking photos with windlights lately, particularly this collection of photos. Depending on my mood, it has been using my colour scheme of pink and cute aesthetic into mature photos.
This is pure Japanese/Korean idol being all cute and innocent though the clothes revealing a heaving bust and midriff inclines that the idol herself isn’t as innocent as she shows to her fanbase. Featuring the adorable hoody by Hime*Dream, pigtails by Runaway Hair and the backdrop is made by Foxcity. A lot of my bento poses and scenes are made by Satomi, she keeps unleashing her imagination onto the grid and we, the happy customers all too happily oblige in purchasing her products.
Pure mischief and naughty, I haven’t taken a picture of my avatar nude in so long (absence of the boyfriend does that to you) but the background by Paparazzi was neon pink and pretty that I had to use it for a photo despite it meaning that my avatar had no clothes on. Thankfully the ombre hair once more by Runaway covers the body mostly. The Princess sleeping mask is by .Olive. from a previous round of The Arcade.
Inspired by the song by Mya: ‘Case of the Ex’ and feeling for one of my best friends who is still seeing the moronic behaviour of an ex boyfriend, the above picture was stemmed from all those feelings. It all started from the spray bottle made by Marmalade for Limit8, she made a gacha that has various potions including Love potion and even cat nip. I decided to change it up with the blue ombre hair, it is by Truth and the corporate/detailed jacket by Pixicat is gorgeous. The golden keys are from one of Cureless+ gacha.
A fluffy outfit taken in the comfort of my cottage where many LOTD have been taken and my house has been featured in the spotlight on Flickr. Many understand why I wouldn’t leave my home and stay sitting there while I’m alt tabbed or away from keyboard. Other than my home on IMVU, the cottage is my rosy bubble.
Another weekly collection of photos that I have taken on the grid/Second Life, its been over the past couple of weeks as I haven’t been completely online all the time because of my new job
The above picture is my most recent shot that I took at Elysion (actually I uploaded it last night before bed) and I’m wearing a dress by Pink Cream Pie featured at Paying it Forward, the cute white mittens are by Katat0nik from the December round of Collabor88, my bunny companion is by Yokai, fluffy cardigan by Cynful released at FaMESHed December.
Having backgrounds or backdrops are my saviours when it comes to random photos, it can look like it is in another sim, but really its in front of my cottage. I have been doing those a lot lately as well. The above photo is a backdrop by Bruja, top is by Epoch from .Suicide DollZ., underwear is by Nana also from Suicide Dollz, the cheeky lollipop is from Catwa‘s main store.
Another photo taken at Elysion, in their Luxe theatre on the main stage. The stunning ball gown is by Moon Amore, it is their rare from their Phantom of the Opera inspired gacha released during this month’s round of The Arcade. Soon as I bought it, I knew I had to do something elegant and whimsical with it, for the musical itself has that otherworldly feel especially when Christine sings ‘Think of me’ in that poof white dress.
Again, this is a backdrop made by Minimal and I was going for something pink, cutesy and random. The pink subway was a perfect addition to my wintry look. My kitty ear muffs are made by Sweet Thing, part of her gacha that was released at The Arcade. The blush off-the-shoulder top is made by Tetra for a previous round of Collabor88. The Yakult bottle is a group gift of Zenith and the rings are by Yummy.
I have been on a roll with taking photos lately on Second Life, though I do not blog for fashion from there anymore, I shop for fun and randomly to save my money.
I have been hit by a creative spark with my photos and it seems because of it, it is reflecting in getting more likes than my usual 20. They have been varying in theme and colour, though pink of course is still present in some of them.
Some of them are focused on the seasons surrounding my avatar, some are focused on the features of my cottage or the new accessories that I have bought at the new round of events. These four pictures I am sharing are my recent shots I have uploaded, the below photo has recieved 47 favourites from the flickr followers, I haven’t recieved many likes in a while so quite happy with this achievement.
Two of them have been a pin-up theme from the recent round of Rewind which is all about the 1940s. The top photo is taken at Elysion sim on the roof of their Luxe theatre where they have burlesque shows every month. The second photo is taken in the comfort of my own pixel home, focusing on the amazing crystal rings by Yummy at this month’s round of Collabor88.
The third photo has a background made by Astralia which is featured in Rewind: 1940s this month and the lingerie is by Moon Elixir for the latest round of ROMP, an adult/kink event. The last photo is taken in a skybox on my home sim featuring the background house made by Foxcity poses for November round of Pocket gacha. The pose itself is also by Foxcity, top by Candydoll and shorts by Villena. My tentacle companion is by Katat0nik from last month’s round of Panic of the Pumpkin.
I literally haven’t been out and about taking photos in-world as much lately, I have been more so on Polyvore or been participating in my best friend Aria’s amazing pictures. I will shamelessly plug in her flickr right here. I will share about three pictures that I’ve taken over the course of the past few months but the fashion tiles that I normally do of my avatar, I guess I have let go and just take pictures for myself if feeling an inspiration hit.
The above photo was taken at Pink Acid/Black Bantam’s sim using one of the new windlights called ‘Crisp Foliage’, top is by Parfait and shorts by Zenith, so so cute! Before on Second Life I was always wearing pink, denim and black but nowadays my newest pictures have been changing. The mood is Autumn in the northern hemisphere and all the events have been releasing Halloween or fall clothing and I have been ‘swept’ up into it all. My clothes have been black, grey or the random Halloween costume thrown in.
The above photo is against the cherry blossom background by Astralia and I took it in July of this year. I think my fashion tiles that I’ll be sharing on this blog will be more focused from my Polyvore account. Though I am currently taking a break from continuing Ame’s outfits because her chronicles is on hiatus, I am still creating outfits but this time it’s for myself and I have been enjoying it.
Today’s post might be a little bit lengthier than usual because I am including Strawberry Singh‘s challenge that she just posted today, she used to do them on a weekly occurance but reality can get quite busy as you and I all know. Anyway this week has been a blur, I been working all PM shifts, only four nights and been full speed into my fantasy series, I have notes for all 3 books now and I think I will keep it to a trilogy even though they all got heaps of content.
I have also decided that I will professionally bind them so they can be read like a book and passed around to anyone in my family or friends can read it (that’s if they enjoy the fantasy genre of course). I’ll be sharing my five positive thoughts before doing the challenge.
Miraculous has a premiere date for Season 2! October 26th!! Shadowhunters has a date for Season 3, April 3 (It’s far away but still yay, also the new footage looks amazing)
Spent the entire weekend with my boyfriend on SL ❤
Ka.lu.el got to have a catch up on IMVU, Elie has been busy moving in reality so it was great to see her again
I am 84 pages into Book 1 of my Seven realms series, been discussing with best friend Mei and told her character deaths…she isn’t happy with me again ^^;
No big problems at work this past week, to have a relaxed but productive day at work is a blessing 😛
Now giving you a couple of my Second Life facts, Strawberry has written seven so I shall try and give you 7 too
My Second Life fact #1: I am a horrible shopaholic, I was worse before the Europe trip but I love to dress up my pixels and I spent my real life work money to buy lindens..
My Second Life fact #2: I can’t stand Alpha men and spoiled baby girls, I know two dear friends who are in that lifestyle in reality and they have explained Babygirls are not want the thots are in-world at all! Alphas also are insecure, little dick men who also fall under the category of your generic pup (fuck boy)
My Second Life fact #3: I’m usually parked in my cottage, it is my rosy bubble and my safe place, quite often the people around the grid make me roll my eyes at their stupidity
My Second Life fact #4: I love to take photos, which is why I have that Flickr account and always sharing pictures on my blog
My Second Life fact #5: Anything pink, cutesy, magical or cat related I will buy it almost immediately whether in-world store, event or gacha form. It will be mine!!
My Second Life fact #6: I met the love of my life online, three years ago. On 13th October 2014 to be precise 😛 And then we met in reality in September of this year 😀
My Second Life fact #7: I have been growing meh about Second Life lately, with my novel writing and socialising more on my pixel network that is IMVU, I probably log on maybe 3-4 days a week and spend less than 3hrs on it, unless of course there is a new event that is calling my shopaholic side..
I hope this satisfies the challenge and yay to Strawberry Singh for bringing them back again, they are so much fun to do!
Where the moon filters it’s light upon the Earth, it also casts its shadow. Like the yin to the yang, every person has a light and a dark side including myself. I usually just share my pink outfits and all my light-hearted attitude but I do have a darkness and usually comes through in my fetishes or my love for violence through dark fantasy or action films. I like staying up until very late whether writing my novel or watching Netflix, I find serenity during a full moon and favour Autumn and Halloween though I am born in a southern hemisphere Summer.
I prefer my lingerie black and meshy with faux fur and a weakness for harnesses, garnesses and shibari all together. Give me ribbons to bound and a blindfold to make me blind and it gives me the warm fuzzies in the pit of my stomach. A lot of my moderate photos on Second Life that show a decent amount of flesh I usually buy in the monotone colours while my pixel clothes tend to be in the reds and pink variety. I adore the erotic side of BDSM especially when it comes to kitten play and the Japanese art of shibari though its origin was no way playful and used in the bedroom.
I also like to mix the seductive nature with the violent tendencies that came out when I’m in an irritable mood. My favourite weapon is the katana, I have one in reality that leans on the wall next to my giant fan from Shanghai and it is the main weapon that my original character Ame Hayato wields in her chronicles. My avatar on both IMVU and Second Life have over 5 on each at least and I still keep finding more whenever a creator releases something new in the catalog or a gacha event.
My best friend Katie had told me that males seem to have a strong favour towards Asian women with weaponry, I have no idea that is perhaps the anime/hentai side that has given that appeal especially with girls wearing short skirts but carry weapons as long as their body. I personally love to pose my avatar in the sexy outfits and holding the katana or knives, there is something pleasantly appealing to it and gives me a boost of confidence when complimented on the look or the picture is given a favourite from someone visiting my Flickr.
No new tile today coming from the grid, just a lot of random pictures that I have been taking since returning from my month holiday, I have to admit that the release of cuter, pink items is making a comeback again and I’m so glad it is.
MishMish released an adorable bear in the September round of Collabor88 and it is either a companion, a plushie to cuddle or decoration for your home. Close friends know I have a weakness for teddy bears I see them as the guardians for kids when they sleep, I also still have my very first bear since I was born, One-Eye Jack. The pretty pink building in the background is actually HolliPocket‘s store, there was lag present on the sim so I could take a photo without the furniture inside.
I sometimes visit the very first store that I shopped in back in 2013, it was originally called Crazy Kitty, now renamed Candy Kitten, the owner is Kaci Kohime and she has slowly changed her theme to something that the babygirls in BDSM would love. The sim I’m on hers is her store but this little cafe with ice-cream out the front is outside the main entrance and to the left. My top is by Hilly Haalan, the cute traveller bag with camera is from Reign‘s gacha from the September round of the Arcade, the Hungry necklace is by E.marie from PocketGacha, a new event where there is no sim and you can just play by a hud, no lag, no worries.
Taken in the comfort of my home, see the MishMish bear in the corner, I got two colours, one for a companion the other as decoration in my bedroom. As I have said in previous entries, I am usually quite often parked inside my cottage because it is my safety bubble and comfort zone away from the toxic personalities of the people on Second Life. The outfit I’m wearing is my most comfortable, if not in the pyjamas. The cute hoodie is by Sweet Thing from the current round of Kustom9 and the underwear are by Violent Seduction
If I’m not parked in my cottage I go wandering and usually on my own though this week I have been enjoying the company of one of my best friends online Aria. The above picture is taken outside the main store of Aii, she creates fantasy and Japanese inspired clothing. My garments are made by Zenith in the new round of Kustom9, as always she makes amazing mesh Oriental robes.
