雨流儀: Pastel Princess

Ame is Queen of pink and mixing the cute accessories with sexy and seductive ideas, but she is not just into hot/candy pinks, I have also added the pastel shades to her closet and giving you new LOTDs that I have made in the past two weeks. They aren’t featured in her chronicles as of yet, I’m trying to figure out when she would wear them.

Below are the three outfits for this week keeping to the same pastel theme;
Pastels by lucilxlu featuring wall murals
City of Couture: Ame loves returning to Paris as much as she does to any of the other fashion capitals of the world, she blends in but also stands out in the Parisian crowd with her extravagent wardrobe and does not mind the attention she recieves. The pink corset with the denim long skirt (which is quite conservative for Ame’s risque style) along with the floral strapped heels work together and her make-up collection in this LOTD are all from France. The palette is by Lancome, the perfume is by Yves Saint Laurent but the Sailor Moon compact is definitely Japanese. Even her detailed hoop earrings have symbols of Paris inside them.

Leather princess by lucilxlu featuring home wall decor
Leather Princess: In her hometown, Ame is always that extra case of flamboyant in her attire, not just in her clothes and accessories but also in her make-up. The Anna sui cheek colour along with this perfume bottle gave the LOTD extra flair but the Miu miu pumps are gorgeous giving it elegance despite wearing a leather bralette. This outfit was also originally influenced by the Lolita fashion found in the Harajuku district in particular the Himegyaru or Princess Lolita, Ame always seen herself as a Princess since high school and incorporated it into her look.

Blossoming by lucilxlu featuring Christian Dior
Blossoming: This outfit I made is very whimsical, cute and highly floral, Ame has her moments in being very trashy and very confident in her body that she will happily show it off. She can also be aware of who she is and proudly show her Yakuza heritage, but she also has her moments in being very girly. I was feeling fairy mood when putting this outfit together and it was all inspired by the stockings that are hand made by Lirika matoshi, so intricate yet gorgeous! Also the mermaid tail brushes were super cute and I could see Ame have these in her make-up collection.

LL LOTD: Paris Weekend

{Reblogged} I absolutely loved Paris while I was there last year and because of my love for the tv series Miraculous and working for a French hotel chain, I can’t really escape it. I am still trying to find a Polyvore replacement to create new tiles but so far it’s a bit bleak.

Featuring three outfits below for visiting Paris. I had lots of fun creating these;
Parisian kitty by lucilxlu featuring fake flowers
Parisian Kitty: Time for work for the fashion magazine and it means going to many capital cities to do interviews, find clothing of inspiration, take photos or even stand-in for the editor-in-chief. I absolutely love this outfit! The skirt is by Dolce & Gabanna, those hot boots are by Alexander McQueen and ice-cream wristlet is by Betsey Johnson (of course). It is blending something professional with the pink blazer and making it into something I would call my own. The scarf is directly from Sanrio online store and hair would be pulled into a neat bun, like I said it was fun to create.

Night out by lucilxlu featuring wall home decor
Night out: The celebrity boyfriend and I would go out with friends, whether his fellow stars or my own group and it wouldn’t be all just for work. This outfit is inspired by an all out, star-studded event and taken on Bastille Day. A known holiday to the French and something they celebrate as much as New Years eve. The outfit itself is not really a designer brand, more something I created together to have its own look of individuality. The harness mixed with the pink bustier by H&M and a ruffled, voluminous black skirt with pink lace underneath. The heels however are Christian Louboutin and purse by Yves Saint Laurent.

Feeling French by lucilxlu featuring wall home decor
Feeling French: I actually have pants in this outfit! I know normally my previous outfits have been dresses or skirts but these pink jeans by Hobbs were too cute, I had to style a look around them. It’s something worn in Autumn or beginning of winter, the top is a pullover by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini and made out of soft wool. The black embellished heels are by Dolce & Gabanna again and the necklace and bracelet are by Betsey Johnson. Are you all noticing a trend here on who I would pick in my alternate universe closet, if I had the money I would definitely spend it on these designers.

LL LOTD: Eclectic

{Reblogged} I really miss making outfits and I can’t seem to find a website that replaces Polyvore. The below LOTDs are a mixture of black and white with pink and either work, casual or sport.

Posting three as per the norm when it comes to sharing my outfits from the disabled Polyvore;
The Chanel boots by lucilxlu featuring nyc home decor
The Chanel Boots: Using a direct quote from the film The Devil wears Prada because my alternate universe self is inspired by this fashion movie as well as Confessions of a Shopaholic. The boots are by Chanel, not the same ones that Anne Hathaway wore as Andy Sacks but similar thighs highs to say the least. The top is by Dolce & Gabanna and the shorts are Abercrombie and Fitch. The pink cardigan is not designer but it is cashmere, a layer over the flimsy blouse. This is an outfit that sums up the perks of being an editor-in-chief’s assistant, shopping around the world in couture! My favourite piece is Betsey Johnson rose bag.

Fight like a girl by lucilxlu featuring prAna
Fight like a Girl: When I was 21, I took roughly two years of Jeet Kune Do class, it is the martial arts that Bruce Lee began, it is a mixture of other deadly arts but with his own twist on it. Now my alternate self would definitely take a combination of dance and martial arts to stay active (and to fit in those gorgeous clothes). The above outfit is one of her training LOTD, none of it is designer though the sneakers are Nike and the bag is Victoria Secret. Everything is minimal and she only wears the pendant that holds the intial of her celebrity boyfriend, subtlety at its best. My favourite accessory is the star pin in the braid, its pink and cutesy.

Laduree by lucilxlu featuring PiP Studio
Laduree: There IS a Laduree store that sells macarons and stationary outside the Palace of Versailles, I even got myself a keychain and notebooks after ogling at how pretty the store itself was. My alternate self would have Laduree make-up because she would be able to afford it and going to Versailles would be a favourite tourist habit of hers in between working and shopping. The top is by Honey couture, skirt by Ronald Van Der Kemp and the shoes are inspired by Cinderella’s glass slippers made by Dolce & Gabanna. My favourite accessory would be the lipgloss and the random pink tea cup, because high tea is elegant and posh.

雨流儀: Staying cute

{Reblogged} Returning to pink and black outfits and none of these are part of Ame’s story arcs featured in her chronicles. The three outfits were inspired by places I have seen and wish to go there myself or wanting to have certain actors and actresses to be part of my chronicles dream cast.

Below are the three selected outfits for this week;
Valentines Day by lucilxlu featuring high heel sandals
Valentines Day: Made on the 14th February, I was in a mush mood and was also in the middle of writing up the future stories for the Osvaldo Arc, this particular V-day is when Ame is back with her Italian mafia Jacen and they have gone to Paris for a weekend away. The above LOTD isn’t so much a dinner date but it could be during the day when Ame is out shopping at her favourite designer stores. She is subtlely armed in this look wearing her usual garter knives. My favourite accessory is the Gucci embroidered clutch.

Senpai by lucilxlu featuring a wine flask
Senpai in NYC: Ame stayed in New York city when she was hiding from the Russian Mafia Oleysa Zima, but has returned to the Big Apple on multiple occasions, she even has a permanent apartment in Park avenue. One of her connections through the London syndicate is a professor at New York university and rumour is that she is a crazy scientist. If in New York City, Ame will visit the professor to catch up as well as get any details on her latest creations. This LOTD is fun, feminine and eccentric, my favourite pieces is the egg purse and egg hair pins.

Streets by lucilxlu featuring set of makeup brushes
Rose Streets: I have shared so many outfits of Ame back home in the streets of Tokyo that I am certain everyone who follows her stories and fashion know what her looks are. Much more casual in the presence of friendships though still designer like her older sister Meiakane. Ame while in her home country always goes all out when it comes to her attire, she blends in with the Shinjuku and Harajuku crowds especially at night when the shops are open until late. My favourite accessories on this LOTD is the Kate Spade ‘Hello Tokyo’ cat bag and the badges/pins on her skirt.

LL LOTD: Day Chic

{Reblogged} Casual outfits can be done right and still made to be fashion statements even if the designers are not present in each individual LOTD. These outfits are featured in my alternate self’s home town of Los Angeles. They all going with the colour of pink as per the norm and giving off a sense of originality in who she is.

Sharing three as always, I take it back some of these outfits have designer;

Disney Girl: The top is Miu Miu, the denim skirt is Dolce & Gabanna and the sneakers are Vans, so even a fun day trip to Disneyland could result in wearing high end brands. I will say the excuse for my alternate self is because she works for a fashion magazine so she will gets the extra couture even in every day outfits. I been to Disneyland on my own and if I had the accessories in the above LOTD, I too would go all out. Minnie Mouse’s headband ears, Ursula’s shell choker and the clutch bag of Beauty and the Beast made by Judith Leiber is a favourite accessory along with the clock stud earrings from Alice in Wonderland.

Dance Classes: Unlike the real me, the mirror version of myself stays fit and stays motivated in order to fit in the cute clothes that are part of her large wardrobe. She does a combination of martial arts class and mix dance. The dance class varies between modern, ballet and aerial yoga. The above LOTD does not have any designer except the accessories are all Victoria Secret, but it the clothes are loose and free to move around in. She packs two pairs of different shoes because the classes are spontaneous and she is prepared/organised for anything.

Casual Yet Cute: I have to be Los Angeles twice now during my real travels and though the traffic is pure chaos and some areas can be very rundown, that is what it means to be in a bustling city in any western country. The dress is Valentino, the denim jacket is Maurice’s, the strapless bra is La Perla, the black stilettos are Giuseppe Zanotti and the adorable perfume bag is my favourite designer Betsey Johnson. This is a fun LOTD and though casual it is chic and very feminine. Something I could wear too in the bustling city streets of shopping or sight seeing. The ginger kitten is if my alternate self had a pet living with her in her apartment. A small companion.

LL LOTD: Pastels Please

{Reblogged} The below outfits have a theme of pastel pink because I wouldn’t just stick to hot or candy pinks in my colour wheel. It also features my favourite cities such as Tokyo, Paris and Los Angeles.

I have three to share with you all and they were made in January-February;

Couture: I always wanted to look like one of those French girls with their berets and designer coats during winter but gave the above look my own twist. Mixing couture with Lolita, the coat is the most expensive item made by Liska, but so is the necklace by Versace. The shoes and purse are probably my favourite accessories combining my love for sweets into a unique design. Also though I have been to Paris once before, I would love to see the Peninsula hotel, it reminds me of the hotel in the series Miraculous.

Dirty 30: I turned the big 3-0 on the 10th February this year so with my alternate self, I would see it as a big bash with more than one hundred people attending- perks of working in a fashion magazine and having a celebrity boyfriend. The dress is by Renato Balestra and pumps are of course Christian Louboutin. It would be a huge marquee during the evening in Tokyo, my home town. The accessories however are Betsey Johnson, the whole event is fun and something Pinkie Pie would deem worthy.

City Summers: My alternate self lives in Los Angeles because that is where her work is based at, she has her own apartment all very chic and cute and the above LOTD is a casual outfit. The only designer item is the bag by Gucci and I love the badges on the pale pink bolero. The 3 digital hearts known by gamers as how many lives you got left and the Stormtrooper badge of course a nod to me being a Star Wars fangirl. The make-up however are all designer brand either Lancome or Dior.

LL LOTD: Pink and Denim

{Reblogged} I have been browsing Fashmates and Urstyle to see if I can pick up creating my fictional outfits but though they both have great promise, it seems to be lacking on the fantasy and unique style that I have come to enjoy as my own looks. Hoping in time that they will show more in my favour.

This collection of three new outfits have two based in Japan, because I would travel there a lot and the other one is a private outing away from the crowds- a green retreat.
Getaway by lucilxlu featuring kate spade handbags
Getaway: There is no actual location for this place, it is several but I was inspired by the Spring time in the northern hemisphere and a forest that isn’t too hot or too cold, just right for a small, intimate picnic for alternate self and her celebrity boyfriend. Somewhere away from the crowds where it can be just them in nature. The ankle frilly socks and candy pink cardigan are my favourite additions to this LOTD, it is very feminine and whimsical. Also the small jelly is a return to my childhood, I loved eating them.

Trip to Japan by lucilxlu featuring a pink outfit
Trip to Japan: The Land of the Rising sun is still no.1 in my travel bucket list in reality, so it makes perfect sense that my alternate self would be going to this country more than once. I think my favourite piece from this look is the heavily detailed denim jacket, I mean c’mon just look at it! All those pins and chains, it looks punk rock but it’s not. It is elegant enough to pull off on top of a cute pink skirt and Louboutin spiked heels.

Tokyo Disneyland during Halloween by lucilxlu featuring cherry blossom home decor
Tokyo Disneyland: The happiest place on Earth, of course I’m going to visit its Japanese counterpart many times if I could in reality and plenty in my alternate universe where money and time is no issue. The short sleeves and skirt though may be the wrong attire for Halloween in Japan because they are already heading into their colder months (whoops). The novelty aspect that I was going for in this LOTD was a lot of fun especially with the food theme jewellery- sushi earrings and gummi bears bracelet.

LL LOTD: Style in the Office

{Reblogged} Corporate outfits can be fun depending on your job and how flexible your boss is, for my alternate reality self she works in a high end fashion magazine so she can express herself as an individual while still wearing the designer brands that her magazine promotes.

She tends to wear pink and black a lot more than any other colour being her trademark. As always, sharing three for you this week.

Editor-in-chief’s Assistant: Inspired by the aesthetic and feel of Runway in the movie Devil wears Prada, I was going for something similar with the office and the outfit as well. Top is by Jackie, skirt by Alexander Wang, earrings are Karl Lagerfeld, make up Bobbi Brown and belt is inspired by Christian Dior. My favourite piece in this LOTD are the badges- the ice cream, the Lucky cat and the mermaid shells since I love novelty personally.

Lunch Break: Mixing professional with unique trend and keeping to my own style, this LOTD is another office outfit while going on lunch break. The imaginary magazine is located in Los Angeles and I could see myself venturing into Little Tokyo during my lunch hour then picking up a glazed cruller on the way back to the office. Top is by Rosie Assoulin, skirt by DSquared2 and shoes are Valentino. My favourite accessory featured is definitely the pink keyboard bag by Joao Sabino, it is very unique.

Back to work: After the holidays and travelling around the fashion capitals, returning to the usual grind in Los Angeles while publishing the memories of the fashion weeks either in New York City or Paris. This is a very feminine LOTD going with her mood of being in a content relationship where is it no longer hiding from the public. Ruffled pink top is by Zerdocean, skirt by Chic Wish, shoes are Kurt Geiger, belt is Saint Laurent and earrings are Dolce & Gabanna.
