LL LOTD: Set 8

Casual outfits can be done right and still made to be fashion statements even if the designers are not present in each individual LOTD. These outfits are featured in my alternate self’s home town of Los Angeles. They all going with the colour of pink as per the norm and giving off a sense of originality in who she is.

Sharing three as always, I take it back some of these outfits have designer;

Disney Girl: The top is Miu Miu, the denim skirt is Dolce & Gabanna and the sneakers are Vans, so even a fun day trip to Disneyland could result in wearing high end brands. I will say the excuse for my alternate self is because she works for a fashion magazine so she will gets the extra couture even in every day outfits. I been to Disneyland on my own and if I had the accessories in the above LOTD, I too would go all out. Minnie Mouse’s headband ears, Ursula’s shell choker and the clutch bag of Beauty and the Beast made by Judith Leiber is a favourite accessory along with the clock stud earrings from Alice in Wonderland.

Dance Classes: Unlike the real me, the mirror version of myself stays fit and stays motivated in order to fit in the cute clothes that are part of her large wardrobe. She does a combination of martial arts class and mix dance. The dance class varies between modern, ballet and aerial yoga. The above LOTD does not have any designer except the accessories are all Victoria Secret, but it the clothes are loose and free to move around in. She packs two pairs of different shoes because the classes are spontaneous and she is prepared/organised for anything.

Casual Yet Cute: I have to be Los Angeles twice now during my real travels and though the traffic is pure chaos and some areas can be very rundown, that is what it means to be in a bustling city in any western country. The dress is Valentino, the denim jacket is Maurice’s, the strapless bra is La Perla, the black stilettos are Giuseppe Zanotti and the adorable perfume bag is my favourite designer Betsey Johnson. This is a fun LOTD and though casual it is chic and very feminine. Something I could wear too in the bustling city streets of shopping or sight seeing. The ginger kitten is if my alternate self had a pet living with her in her apartment. A small companion.

LL LOTD: Set 7

It is so hot this weekend! I am tempted to turn on the air-conditioner for the sake of being cool but I also know that will be a waste of time considering I might go out after releasing this collection of outfits. The below LOTD are a mixture of black and white with pink and either work, casual or sport.

Posting three as per the norm when it comes to sharing my outfits from Polyvore;
The Chanel boots by lucilxlu featuring nyc home decor
The Chanel Boots: Using a direct quote from the film The Devil wears Prada because my alternate universe self is inspired by this fashion movie as well as Confessions of a Shopaholic. The boots are by Chanel, not the same ones that Anne Hathaway wore as Andy Sacks but similar thighs highs to say the least. The top is by Dolce & Gabanna and the shorts are Abercrombie and Fitch. The pink cardigan is not designer but it is cashmere, a layer over the flimsy blouse. This is an outfit that sums up the perks of being an editor-in-chief’s assistant, shopping around the world in couture! My favourite piece is Betsey Johnson rose bag.

Fight like a girl by lucilxlu featuring prAna
Fight like a Girl: When I was 21, I took roughly two years of Jeet Kune Do class, it is the martial arts that Bruce Lee began, it is a mixture of other deadly arts but with his own twist on it. Now my alternate self would definitely take a combination of dance and martial arts to stay active (and to fit in those gorgeous clothes). The above outfit is one of her training LOTD, none of it is designer though the sneakers are Nike and the bag is Victoria Secret. Everything is minimal and she only wears the pendant that holds the intial of her celebrity boyfriend, subtlety at its best. My favourite accessory is the star pin in the braid, its pink and cutesy.

Laduree by lucilxlu featuring PiP Studio
Laduree: There IS a Laduree store that sells macarons and stationary outside the Palace of Versailles, I even got myself a keychain and notebooks after ogling at how pretty the store itself was. My alternate self would have Laduree make-up because she would be able to afford it and going to Versailles would be a favourite tourist habit of hers in between working and shopping. The top is by Honey couture, skirt by Ronald Van Der Kemp and the shoes are inspired by Cinderella’s glass slippers made by Dolce & Gabanna. My favourite accessory would be the lipgloss and the random pink tea cup, because high tea is elegant and posh.

LL LOTD: Set 6

tokkeki: “saku ”
2018 is just around the corner and I did not have enough new photos from Second Life to share with you in this final week of 2017 so I’m sharing three outfits I made on Polyvore with my alternate universe again. All casual but keeping to the same theme as the previous fashion post of pink and black colour.

They all bring a personal touch for me as each has something featured in reality;
Seasoned traveller by lucilxlu featuring personalized coffee travel mugs
Seasoned Traveller: I love going to the airport whether it is personally going on a holiday with my parents or picking up family who have landed from overseas, there is always an exciting energy in any airport that I go to. My alternate self would be travelling a lot because of the industry that she works in. The only thing that is designer in this outfit is the heels belonging to Christian Louboutin. I also have travelled Emirates business class and it is divine!

Brit chic by lucilxlu featuring a bow blouse
Brit Chic: After being in London for 12 days this past September, I enjoyed it thoroughly and I would return there again and again if I had the money and time. My alternate universe self would have no problem flying there especially since her own celebrity boyfriend is British too. The whole outfit is feminine and cute with designer items such as the Valentino pink sandals, Burberry perfume and Gucci statement necklace. An ice-cream with two churros is a favourite snack to eat while walking around.

Bludger by lucilxlu featuring a white mug
Bludger: This LOTD is chilled out and in the comfort of my alternate self’s home in Los Angeles when she is not travelling or working. I own a pair of the unicorn slippers that are featured in this set and could see myself drinking miso soup in an oversized jumper and short shorts while brainstorming ideas for my next fantasy novel. There is nothing couture in this outfit but the make-up featured are made by Anna Sui.

LL LOTD: Set 4

tokkeki:
“ しーちゃん
”
I got a new set for you all in between working the first week of my 9-5 job, so far the past two days though it has just been induction has been amazing, learning a whole higher calibre of hotel service. Though I am no longer facing the front desk, I am still with the guests over the phone in Reservations.

This collection of three new outfits have two based in Japan, because I would travel there a lot and the other one is a private outing away from the crowds- a green retreat.
Getaway by lucilxlu featuring kate spade handbags
Getaway: There is no actual location for this place, it is several but I was inspired by the Spring time in the northern hemisphere and a forest that isn’t too hot or too cold, just right for a small, intimate picnic for alternate self and her celebrity boyfriend. Somewhere away from the crowds where it can be just them in nature. The ankle frilly socks and candy pink cardigan are my favourite additions to this LOTD, it is very feminine and whimsical. Also the small jelly is a return to my childhood, I loved eating them.

Trip to Japan by lucilxlu featuring a pink outfit
Trip to Japan: The Land of the Rising sun is still no.1 in my travel bucket list in reality, so it makes perfect sense that my alternate self would be going to this country more than once. I think my favourite piece from this look is the heavily detailed denim jacket, I mean c’mon just look at it! All those pins and chains, it looks punk rock but it’s not. It is elegant enough to pull off on top of a cute pink skirt and Louboutin spiked heels.

Tokyo Disneyland during Halloween by lucilxlu featuring cherry blossom home decor
Tokyo Disneyland: The happiest place on Earth, of course I’m going to visit its Japanese counterpart many times if I could in reality and plenty in my alternate universe where money and time is no issue. The short sleeves and skirt though may be the wrong attire for Halloween in Japan because they are already heading into their colder months (whoops). The novelty aspect that I was going for in this LOTD was a lot of fun especially with the food theme jewellery- sushi earrings and gummi bears bracelet.

LL LOTD: Set 2

Hey all, got another collection of Polyvore outfits
freshprinceofmaldonia: “The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful of all ”
Since this idea came to me I have made 37 outfits in total for the alternate universe version of me. Unlike the closet of Ame Hayato, I didn’t have to restrict what I put together to stay in-character. Because these outfits are what I would love to wear including places to visit, make-up to wear and accessories to carry with me at all times.

Been having a lot of fun making them and will be sharing three at a time.
Sparkle on by lucilxlu featuring wood signs
Sparkle on: This is very Himegyaru or ‘Princess’ inspired fashion but it isn’t really because it bears more skin than what the girls wear in Japan. It’s an outfit I’d wear in London or Paris while drinking tea and writing up the next big novel (alternate universe anyway) or about to attend a meeting with the fashion magazines. This is very feminine and still keeping to my colour scheme of pink and black. My favourite pieces are the pink planner from Kikki K, the sushi badges and earrings and the bag from Moschino it matches with the corset of the same designer.

The tango by lucilxlu featuring metal home decor
The Tango: Inspired by a chapter in the story I’m writing for my alternate self, it was a fun chapter to be written. She is back home in Los Angeles and getting dance classes for her brother’s upcoming wedding, what she didn’t realise is that her celebrity boyfriend has come by to visit on his return to work. They are paired off by the instructor and taught the tango. I went for simple but had to get a skirt that moves freely, it is made by Anthony Vaccarello. Shoes are Dolce & Gabanna’s cage heels, another favourite addition.

Writer by lucilxlu featuring a white mug
Writer: One of my favourite LOTD to make for myself, this is if I was at home in my apartment after a busy day working in the fashion magazine office and writing is my hobby to help relax my buzzing mind. Though the dress itself is quite expensive for just relaxing in (it is by Temperley London), I loved the idea of ruffled, loose dress along with the unicorn slippers which I have in real life too. The pink inflatable chair brings back a feeling of nostalgia as I used to have one back in the 90s when it was all the craze. Miso soup and Godiva cookies are a guilty pleasure to have on the desk while writing too.

雨流儀: Pastel Princess

Ame is Queen of pink and mixing the cute accessories with sexy and seductive ideas, but she is not just into hot/candy pinks, I have also added the pastel shades to her closet and giving you new LOTDs that I have made in the past two weeks. They aren’t featured in her chronicles as of yet, I’m trying to figure out when she would wear them.

Below are the three outfits for this week keeping to the same pastel theme;
Pastels by lucilxlu featuring wall murals
City of Couture: Ame loves returning to Paris as much as she does to any of the other fashion capitals of the world, she blends in but also stands out in the Parisian crowd with her extravagent wardrobe and does not mind the attention she recieves. The pink corset with the denim long skirt (which is quite conservative for Ame’s risque style) along with the floral strapped heels work together and her make-up collection in this LOTD are all from France. The palette is by Lancome, the perfume is by Yves Saint Laurent but the Sailor Moon compact is definitely Japanese. Even her detailed hoop earrings have symbols of Paris inside them.

Leather princess by lucilxlu featuring home wall decor
Leather Princess: In her hometown, Ame is always that extra case of flamboyant in her attire, not just in her clothes and accessories but also in her make-up. The Anna sui cheek colour along with this perfume bottle gave the LOTD extra flair but the Miu miu pumps are gorgeous giving it elegance despite wearing a leather bralette. This outfit was also originally influenced by the Lolita fashion found in the Harajuku district in particular the Himegyaru or Princess Lolita, Ame always seen herself as a Princess since high school and incorporated it into her look.

Blossoming by lucilxlu featuring Christian Dior
Blossoming: This outfit I made is very whimsical, cute and highly floral, Ame has her moments in being very trashy and very confident in her body that she will happily show it off. She can also be aware of who she is and proudly show her Yakuza heritage, but she also has her moments in being very girly. I was feeling fairy mood when putting this outfit together and it was all inspired by the stockings that are hand made by Lirika matoshi, so intricate yet gorgeous! Also the mermaid tail brushes were super cute and I could see Ame have these in her make-up collection.

雨流儀: Pink on Black

I got another pink/black collection to be shared from Ame Hayato’s wardrobe on Polyvore for you all 😛 In between her black outfits for stealth and her red attire when feeling a bit frisky and ready to tackle her lover at that time, Ame is usually in hot pink and wearing various black skirts. This collection is no different, but the accessories vary as always.

Check below for the pair of outfits from various arcs in her chronicles;
Fashionista by lucilxlu featuring Moschino
Fashionista: A huge spending spree in her home city, not relevant to any arc in her story but could be one of her outfits when she travels to the Ginza and Shibuya districts for late night dinner and shopping with her girlfriends. As always, Ame would be making a statement in her pink and black tied to eccentric accessories. I love the Christian louboutin metallic nail polish and the Betsey Johnson stereo bag. Of course she would have garter knives (just in case) and a black Visa card 😛

Milan moment by lucilxlu featuring gold jewelry
Milan Moment: This outfit occurs during the Osvaldo arc when Ame is in the city of Milan and gone sight seeing as well as shopping in the designer stores. She becomes like the locals and rides her own scooter around the city to check out what it has to offer and of course it is pink. She also has tasted their food, again with the sweets Ame discovers a weakness for the Italian cannoli and orders a box to take with her to the Excelsior hotel Gallia.

雨流儀: My Favourite sets

Translating this new sub-heading it reads ‘Ame Ryugi’ or Rain Fashion, in between my Second Life fashion tiles I decided I would share the sets I made on polyvore for Ame Hayato‘s wardrobe. The outfits that are featured in certain arcs and the various short stories that I have posted or have yet to post.

The below outfits are my favourites that I have on Polyvore so far..
City hopper by lucilxlu featuring photography wall art
City Hopper: Not part of any story or arc but just a random outfit I created that is fun and flirty and very Ame style. In the stories, she travels a lot outside of Tokyo, featured in the plot are cities like New York, Prague, London and Miami. High end destinations for any luxury traveller even for a Yakuza’s daughter 😛
Chinatown outing by lucilxlu featuring mac cosmetics
Chinatown Outing: While in San Francisco, Ame checks out their Chinatown and gets herself lunch. Again an outfit not really part of her storyline but I love the 2016 Ghostbusters as much as the original two and had to implement them in this cute outfit of hers. Ame would read ‘Ghosts from our past’ while happily eating dumplings nad drinking miso soup. This was also my first outfit that I created featuring food.
Timeless by lucilxlu featuring a silver necklace
Timeless: When in New York City, not purposely part of the Russian mafia/American spy arc that just finished but Ame would wear this kind of outfit when walking down Madison and Fifth avenues drinking from a Godiva milkshake 😛 Also she has a pet kitten though I doubt the feline would go travelling with her but it was a cute add-on to this outfit.
Travel between cities by lucilxlu featuring wall posters
Travel between Cities: Featuring in the next arc after Cartel, Ame travels between Milan and Tokyo for reasons due to be revealed when the stories are shared 😛 She is still armed “subtley” and her luggage of course is hot pink! Clicking around the airports in her Monique Lhuillier heels. She is what she wears, an elite Yakuza.

Second Life: Facets of Luci Lu

Normally after the gif or pic spam I am sharing with you my latest fashion tile, well I am a bit behind on that so instead will share the recent photos I have taken over this past week. They are different outfits and taken at various locations around the grid.

I am going with my feline roots in the above photo, taken at the Moon Festival 2016 featuring lots of cute and oriental items for visitors to purchase or to simply enjoy the full moon. My school girl outfit is new and made by Caboodle at Memento Mori, it is one of the rare school uniforms and brings me back to the Kageran Gakuen roleplaying days on IMVU.

Pose is made by Le Poppycock during the Bon Voyage: Japan event that occurred back in August and the theme was all related to the country of the Rising sun. The pose is called Yandere: Too late. The mouse that my kitten self is holding in my mouth is made by Half-Deer from new event SALEM and is called Mewnificent: White mouse mouthie and is one of her rare prizes.

Outfit is all from Memento Mori, the dress is called Ophelia and made by CandyDoll, my katana is again by Caboodle one of their rare prizes and the enchanting “Nobody mask” is by Aii. Photo was taken in one of the decorated corners of HolliPocket main store, I love her store purely because it is entirely pink and filled with cutesy decorations in between selling her clothes and accessories.

I decided to try out a Taketomi hairstyle called Me!Me!Me and bought this at their main store, I love the flower hair piece it somehow matched the :Moon Amore: Dark shreds dress from Memento Mori. The moon cake is by Koi, purchased at the Moon Festival and the adorable umbrella is from NS: Marketplace with huds to change the colour and two custom poses.

The location of this photo is at Shinba Akiba city next to their Anime cafe 😀 I used to hang out on this sim a lot during my first year on being on Second Life and it brings back a lot of nostalgia before I was an entirely mesh avatar

Last photo taken without any make-up on and in the rosy bubble that is my home sim, I am wearing a nightdress by Hilly Haalan, I discovered her store on the marketplace by accident when browsing the website after work. Absolutely adore all her mesh clothes and I recommend everyone to have a look.

I can also happily share because I couldn’t believe it has happened, my flickr has been changed back to safe! I can now join all my favourite designer and event groups that were restricted to safe photos only 😀 For those Second Life residents and fellow bloggers, please click: My gallery
