Diary: Appreciate it All

diary
It’s Monday night here so you know what that means… anotherΒ Strawberry SinghΒ challenge yay! It seems my diary entries if posted on this particular day will be featuring her challenges if they become a regular occurance again πŸ˜› Mixing it up with my likes for this week and I got a lot to be grateful for after the highs and lows that come with being human. The highlights will be featured in my positive likes below of course.

All I can say is that I’m so happy for the people who surround me, I am known to be a happy-go-lucky person but when I get drained, it is these people who keep me going in just being themselves. So thanks all ❀

  • Honey Birdette– Local lingerie store who also dips into bondage inspired themes, I decided to stop being a coward and went into a store today and tried on a set. Loved it so much…I bought it
  • Kitten D’amour released a new line, I haven’t shopped there in ages but yesterday got myself a collar dress from their new collection Hummingbird
  • The picture edits one of my girls on Second Life Aria did of us both, she’s a talented waifu!
  • I got a finishing date for my current job! I finish on November 27th πŸ˜€ Sofitel here I come!
  • Whatsapp or facebook calls from the boyfriend in the evening :3

The Second Life challenge for this week is all about the zodiac and I had to participate considering I enjoy reading about my horoscope and can relate to my sign on so many levels.

  • What is your Zodiac sign?: I am a rebellious, eccentric Aquarian
  • Do you believe in Astrology and read your horoscope often?: I used to read it all the time when I was single and in my early 20s, now if it pops up on my Facebook, I will have a read. I still believe in what it says about my persona though
  • What are some of the traits of your zodiac sign and do you feel they reflect who you are?:
  • Strengths: Progressive, original, independent, humanitarian – All yes to the four! I like to be progressive in anything, I can adapt to change especially at work, originality is something I pride in severely I can’t stand fakes, fads or clones because girls can’t grasp the concept of individuality. Independent for sure! I can be left alone and I won’t be flailing for help. And for the last point, I donate to research for cancer to my local hospital and support cat shelters because bootchis.
  • Weaknesses: Runs from emotional expression, temperamental, uncompromising, aloof – I don’t run from my emotions, I’m in fact a human tap who has too much emotion and it’s always going out whether in doses of extreme happiness, melancholy or anger so that’s a no πŸ˜› Temperatural and uncompromising oh gosh yes I can be, my boyfriend has called me stubborn because there have been times I don’t budge with him. Same with my family. Aloof, oh yes I am like a cat in that aspect, I can appear to be an Ice queen to strangers until you get to know me.
  • Aquarian likes: Fun with friends, helping others, fighting for causes, intellectual conversation, a good listener – I’m an extrovert, I get louder in good company it’s the honest truth and my friends can agree on that. Helping others, I’m in the hospitality industry it is what I pride in doing, fighting for causes I do charity walks to help raise money for all kinds of people in need or like I said before I financially support them. Intellectual convos, I find sapiosexuals, hot as hell! I love to learn off them, I am a sponge. Good listener, I have to be again with my line of work though sometimes I get distracted and do not pay attention in the presence of family or friends (I’m so sorry on that!)

Well that’s my diary for this week, thanks everyone for the new reads and followers πŸ˜€

Diary: Likes and Challenges

diary
Today’s post might be a little bit lengthier than usual because I am including Strawberry Singh‘s challenge that she just posted today, she used to do them on a weekly occurance but reality can get quite busy as you and I all know. Anyway this week has been a blur, I been working all PM shifts, only four nights and been full speed into my fantasy series, I have notes for all 3 books now and I think I will keep it to a trilogy even though they all got heaps of content.

I have also decided that I will professionally bind them so they can be read like a book and passed around to anyone in my family or friends can read it (that’s if they enjoy the fantasy genre of course). I’ll be sharing my five positive thoughts before doing the challenge.

  • Miraculous has a premiere date for Season 2! October 26th!! Shadowhunters has a date for Season 3, April 3 (It’s far away but still yay, also the new footage looks amazing)
  • Spent the entire weekend with my boyfriend on SL ❀
  • Ka.lu.el got to have a catch up on IMVU, Elie has been busy moving in reality so it was great to see her again
  • I am 84 pages into Book 1 of my Seven realms series, been discussing with best friend Mei and told her character deaths…she isn’t happy with me again ^^;
  • No big problems at work this past week, to have a relaxed but productive day at work is a blessing πŸ˜›

Now giving you a couple of my Second Life facts, Strawberry has written seven so I shall try and give you 7 too
Β

  • My Second Life fact #1: I am a horrible shopaholic, I was worse before the Europe trip but I love to dress up my pixels and I spent my real life work money to buy lindens..
  • My Second Life fact #2: I can’t stand Alpha men and spoiled baby girls, I know two dear friends who are in that lifestyle in reality and they have explained Babygirls are not want the thots are in-world at all! Alphas also are insecure, little dick men who also fall under the category of your generic pup (fuck boy)
  • My Second Life fact #3: I’m usually parked in my cottage, it is my rosy bubble and my safe place, quite often the people around the grid make me roll my eyes at their stupidity
  • My Second Life fact #4: I love to take photos, which is why I have that Flickr account and always sharing pictures on my blog
  • My Second Life fact #5: Anything pink, cutesy, magical or cat related I will buy it almost immediately whether in-world store, event or gacha form. It will be mine!!
  • My Second Life fact #6: I met the love of my life online, three years ago. On 13th October 2014 to be precise πŸ˜› And then we met in reality in September of this year πŸ˜€
  • My Second Life fact #7: I have been growing meh about Second Life lately, with my novel writing and socialising more on my pixel network that is IMVU, I probably log on maybe 3-4 days a week and spend less than 3hrs on it, unless of course there is a new event that is calling my shopaholic side..

I hope this satisfies the challenge and yay to Strawberry Singh for bringing them back again, they are so much fun to do!

Diary: New start

diary
It has been a whirlwind of a week since I have returned to work but I am thankful for the past couple of days and everything is still in a very positive light for myself and my family. I’ve had some big news occur recently and they will be published in the below positive thoughts, it goes to show for myself that if you put your heart into something you are guranteed to get it and even if you don’t, you keep trying until you get somewhere that is good for yourself.

My creativity boost from before the holidays is still going and I have been multi-tasking between three of my original stories, I used to write more than ten and have notes for many more before I got into roleplay on IMVU, ten years ago. I’m glad it hasn’t left me completely and I don’t need a group of people to get a plot going. Below are the weekly five likes;

  • I got the job! Since before my Europe holiday I have been applying at other Accor properties in a different department. This morning I got woken up to join the new hotel opening in the city, it is a five star property. I won’t be starting until January next year but OMG I got the job!
  • I walked/jogged the Blackmore bridge run this past weekend in the city, I beat my record that I did at the 10km run in Canberra in April of this year πŸ˜€
  • Family lunch this past Monday, mum, sister and I all had days off after the big run and my sister suggested that we all go out for lunch, we went to Hog’s breath cafe at Towers. I had a chicken Caesar wrap with sweet potato wedges.
  • Hoping to catch up with my bestie Mei this upcoming Sunday, I haven’t seen her since before the holiday and I know we need to brainstorm our creative ideas and give presents to her.
  • Barbie finally released a new film! It is on American Netflix, I am just waiting for it to be released down under

Mood: On holiday

Good morning from Paris!

I didn’t make an official announcement of when I left Sydney two weeks ago but I am positive that everyone who follows my blog knew where I was going in the leading up days until I flew to Dubai. I have been over here on the other side of the globe for the past 2 weeks and been in Paris for 5 days. My parents and I have been non stop moving since we arrived and it has been amazing even with the random arguments my parents decide to start with each other. I have had my own room this past week and have been glad for it, I am returning to sharing a room with the parentals as of tonight after we take a train to London this afternoon. We are there for two weeks and next week I will be finally seeing my other half Brad, so can’t wait!

Might post again here while in London but mum has a busy schedule yet again for us, if not I will blog again when I am back home in Sydney. Thanks to those who are still following the Luci Logs and understaning my annual leave.

Diary: Last week

6:30am start today and I’m back to the daily grind after a fabulous weekend either relaxing or out with friends, this is also my last week of work doing 6 days before my annual leave for Europe begins. I am all packed and ready to go, just have my day bag to prep for but otherwise everything else is ready for the month trip. Mum keeps telling me how busy we will be with training around the different countries and I know this won’t be a shopping trip, I’m just overall excited for the experience.

I am also still in fangirl mode over all the goodies being released from San Diego comic-con, that is another bucket list to one day check out the convention and be part of the masses in Hall H. The trailers for Shadowhunters, Avengers 3: Infinity war, Justice League have got me squealing and I can’t believe that Adelaide Kane (Mary from Reign) is going to be in Once upon a time and Tom Welling (Superman from Smallville) is going to be featured in the new season of Lucifer!

  • My old assistant manager celebrated her birthday this past Saturday in the city, it was great to catch up
  • Kagami event has opened on Second Life, it’s a Japanese horror game brings back nostalgia from 2 years ago
  • I pre-ordered Occamy, the bird snake from Fantastic Beasts, a special pop doll from San Diego comic-con
  • My dragon story has been moved from my little black book into word document
  • Cute covered journals from TypoΒ such as mermaid scales are addictive, I need to stop buying them!

Diary: Life as it is

8 days can put a strain on your body and you can imagine how relieved I was when 11pm finally clocked over and I was happily leaving work last Friday for my weekend off! It is also not long now until I am away for a month and in Europe! I keep having dreams of flying business class would be like. Though I have done it before when going to Christchurch with mum, this longer trip will be worth the heavy dollars that my family and I paid.

Also can’t wait to meet my other half in London, if all goes well with him and I after our first official meeting in reality, he said he would fly down under for my sister’s wedding next year in March! Here is hoping everything goes smoothly.

  • Catch up dinner with Mei last night, I haven’t seen her in a month!
  • Crunchie hot choc, The Choc Pot invented it and its a subtle version of the monster milkshakes. Yum!
  • The original Disney Princess voice actresses are making a cameo in Wreck it Ralph 2!!
  • I lost another kilo, I just wish my body would stop fluctuating on itself
  • Binge watching Z nation on Netflix, that show I admit is better than TWD >.>

Mood: Productive

I started packing for Europe since yesterday, I think it is partially because of my mum has been dropping some of her clothes on my bed and advising me to “get a move on” so to speak. The big luggage has been pulled out of the wardrobe and had tshirts thrown inside, I made a mental note for myself to address the packing on my upcoming days off. Can’t wait for the warm weather to be honest, when I finish my PM shifts at 11pm it has been between 7-9 degrees celsius when I walk out of the hotel. Too damn cold!

I have also written up a new resume from the beginning, the original resume that had been typed up by my dad and I had been adding in information over the years was “too cluttered and too old fashion” according to my boss and she asked if I could re-do it again. I have sent what I have written to one of my assistant managers who has been my mentor over the past couple of months and hopefully we can build it up to standards so our boss can send it through to the reservations department at the other property. If I do get this job I can have my weekends back and my body clock will be reset to normal.

Hobby wise, I have been making a lot of Polyvore outfits for my character Ame Hayato, I am hoping that with this creative outlet it will inspire me to continue her chronicles and share the stories with all of you here on my blog.

Diary: A change of Scene

I was suppose to post this earlier but that Ame fashion entry was too cute that I enjoyed seeing it sit at the top of my blog without anything disrupting all the bright colours of her wardrobe. Anyway here is a weekly update of what is going on in my reality. Work has been seamless and no problems, though our rating is horrid (we got 10 days to boost it up again!) though I also may been having a change of scene if all goes to plan and with the continuing support of my Front office manager and duty managers.

I won’t speak of it as of yet since its still very much in the early stages but after I was presented with a different path in my career, I realised that after 4 years in the same hotel, doing the same job I have become officially stalemate. No movement, no nothing even with the increased training of more tasks. This offer was presented to be my boss and had me thinking about it the past couple of days. I sought out advice from my besties Mei and Katie, my boyfriend Brad and my parents. They all think I should go for this new opportunity, so we’ll see how it goes.

I will keep you all my readers in touch of how it goes over the next couple of weeks, but surely nothing will happen as of yet because of my big holiday in August.
The top five likes from the past 10 days;

  • New assistant manager has started working at my hotel, he knows my other duty manager and we are getting along very nicely
  • ShadowhuntersΒ is back tomorrow, wooot!
  • I have been binge watching Season 1 of Reign, oh gosh my ‘Frary’ heart is bursting
  • I know I’m suppose to be saving up my money but I couldn’t help but get new Peter Alexander winter pjs today
  • I’ve seen this handmade Enchanted rose with fairy lights on Etsy and I want to buy it so much! Maybe after my holiday (if I have money left in my bank account)

Diary: Rain and More

The rain mixed with the cold weather of winter is never a good combination especially when you have been working for seven days straight at work, this is me currently. I did it as a favour for one of the guest service agents who wanted Friday off and rather than split our days off, we decided to swap our weekend completely. I don’t mind, I have tomorrow and Monday off and hoping that the rain holds off tomorrow so my family, bestie Mei and I can check out Vivid in the city.

I was originally going to vent under the sub heading of Neko Irritation but decided not to and instead just place it here in my diary entry. All my good friends know that I cannot stand fair-weather friends (A friend who is only a friend when circumstances are pleasant or profitable. At the first sign of trouble, these capricious, disloyal friends will drop their relationship with you.) I have had my fair share of them online, none in reality of course because it is a whole different ball game beyond the computer.

But online, you have so many and it usually occurs of when they striving to climb the pixel social ladder or wanting a boyfriend or a man who is DTF, I sadly had to release a fair-weather friend last night after my gut feeling became true. And it wasn’t just me, two of my other girl friends noticed it too and also deleted this friend. It is quite unfortunate because I knew her on IMVU for the past 5 years? And she helped me re-do my avatar when I returned to that pixel universe. Let’s just hope she knows what she is doing…

The top five likes from the past 9 days;

  • Cadbury bars- I have lessened my sugar intake so having a bar of chocolate sates the craving
  • Golden State Warriors are still leading in NBA finals
  • My flickr has reached 1,100 followers tonight πŸ˜€ Thank you all
  • Wonder Woman! I need to watch it again, it was absolutely amazing and Gal is soaring high!
  • Family time last weekend after AM shift, I don’t get much time with my cousins but when I do it is always crazy in a good way

Mood: Getting Sick

I am so sorry I haven’t been posting anything on here for the past five days, I hope I haven’t lost a couple of the new followers that added me this past week. If that is the case, I am sorry again. Work has been crazy and I am learning so many new procedures and doing projects that come with being a team leader. My front office manager said I have to do the work before I get the title, one of my assistant managers is also leaving end of June and I have this feeling that after having experience as a team leader, I too will leave this property I have been for almost four years now, I think it is time to move on.

Three nights ago, I also had a bleeding nose at 2am, just when I thought I was over my fear of my blood and that episode just proved I am still not over it and still freak out. I know it is a mental issue and no matter how many times my parents tell me to not panic because it is not life threatening, I still flail and call for help. Day after and I started getting the beginning stages of a cold, today I have been sleeping majority of the day until the afternoon when I dropped my dad off to the bus stop, he is going into the city to catch up with some old work mates.

Normally I go into the city because T.G.I.F but I think for tonight, I will just get some takeaway and eat from home, I am back to work tomorrow morning and I know working AM shifts this weekend will definitely not help me get over this common cold. Opened up a new public room on IMVU and been hanging with my girls on there, finding it more fun than staying parked in my cottage on Second Life, that mood to log into the universe seems to be diminishing every week.

Mum is also coming home from working overseas and will land in the morning, I won’t see her until I finish my shift though at 3pm and perhaps catch up at my aunt’s 60th birthday. It is an afternoon event.

Diary: Three times a Charm

I got three days off and though I didn’t do much and returning to work tomorrow morning, it has been quite chilled out and relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle in the hotel or going out and having family parties. Tonight is my usual driving or bus into the city for my regular Chinatown Friday night markets which means food time!

I got five days of work this week but it is getting more exciting because I am learning the ropes for a team leader, wish me luck I get this promotion soon!

My five likes;

  • Wonder WomanΒ is getting amazing reviews from fans who have watched it this week, yayy!
  • Boyfriend made me swoon three times, he is such a romantic when not being a dork ❀
  • More ShadowhuntersΒ teasers have been released! More Sebastian!
  • Drove up the mountains yesterday, took pictures of the Autumn scenery, so pretty this time of year
  • 12 followers away from reaching 1,100 on my Flickr, well I guess people like my pictures πŸ˜€

Diary: Cloven in Two

My days off have been split in two this week but that is ok, it meant I had a recovery day after a concert and I get to participate in the early Mothers day dinner this Saturday night. My blog has also reached over 20,000 views! And I just noticed it tonight when I logged on, a bit slow in the uptake but yayy!

Thank you so much to all my viewers, readers for following my small corner of the blogging space. As you all know this is more than just a diary entry to give you details of my reality, more than fashion tiles of Second Life or IMVU shenanigans, it is also a creative outlet for me as a writer and a dear hobby.

It is something that I go back to even between the busy work days and somewhere I can escape, to vent out my thoughts or proudly show what I have created. I also now have 532 followers, hello and welcome! This sub heading you will see pop up in my posts every week, it is a recap of what is going on in my life that includes positive thoughts. With the negativity in the world, having moments of happiness even daily is a great thing to experience.

Got five likes that occured within the past two days;

  • Green Day last night with mum! They still as epic as ever and the fans are just as great
  • I bought 3 packs of Miso soup today from Daiso, perfect for cold days
  • Shadowhunters has released a new teaser trailer for 2b and it is exciting alll on all levels!
  • 4 months until I get to see my beloved in the flesh
  • My Hen Den is growing, had two of my friends join the group and meet the rest of the girlies

Diary: Relaxed and Content

After last weekend’s non stop action, this week has been fairly slow, the past week was all PM shifts and training the new GSA, she been nailing the checklist so I had confidence that she would be fine to work on her own when I went on my days off. Weekend was exciting and did a lot of socialising with my friendship group from high school.

Now I’m halfway through my AM shifts in this new week and so far it’s been quiet because of this Easter long weekend, I don’t mind it has been nice to catch up on projects that had to be put on hold because of my teaching or busy days where we are 100% and full of corporate guests.

My five likes for this week;

  • Mei’s 30th birthday dinner, got to catch up with the high school girlies
  • Fate of the Furious (F8) was friggin awesome especially in gold class
  • Shadowhunters is renewed for Season 3…according to SpoilerTV
  • Bucket of M&M speckled eggs from my younger sister for Easter
  • Quiet weekend at work, everyone still on holidays!

Diary: Two more Days

Parents are returning this Tuesday! It feels like they have been gone forever, Ange and I have survived without the parents even doing house chores in their absence. Skitty is still well loved though we have both been working and I have not completely lost my sanity when Ange stays over at her fiance’s house. I do however need to step up on my exercising game, two weeks until mum and I will be driving to Canberra for the 10km fun walk.

This past week’s likes that I have experienced;

  • A pink notebook and a sushi keychain I bought from Typo yesterday
  • A double decker London bus pin that I bought from Mooii last night while out with Mei
  • Justice League released its official trailer today and it is glorious!
  • Chinatown night markets last Friday night, it feels like less people or perhaps its because I was there in the early evening
  • Ordered new kitten play accessories from Etsy, can’t wait for it to arrive
