Three years I have called this cottage home on Second Life and it has been my rosy bubble away from all the wastelands and craziness that ensures from other residents in the virtual universe.
My dining table is always changing, depending on what is released by my favourite creators for events, this picture is this month recent as it was taken featuring the cutesy food made by Tentacio. It was released at 6republic earlier this month, its theme was Canada vs Japan. The adorable ginger girl is by Black Bantam and one of the rares that were released at Kustom9 in December 2015.
I even changed the wardrobe that I had from Birdy’s Boudoir to Nomi’s Princess closet that was released for the Gacha Gardens again earlier this month. It is more prim heavy but it had more detail and its pink, of course it had to be part of my bedroom. That side of the cottage is my favourite place to be parked in if I’m not going shopping or going to that new club that was introduced to me by one of my besties Aria.
Can you believe the above photo was taken outside of my cottage using the books background by Astralia, I love to read in reality, I have a wardrobe full of books and manga plus over thirty virtual books saved on my Kindle. Reading books with a cat on my lap, makes it even better as long as it is not hot outside as we are approaching the beginning of Summer here in Australia.
Pose is by Le Poppycock which features the cat on my chest, found at the September round of The Liason Collective.
I have taken a couple of photos featuring my beloved rug in my bedroom over the past two years, I have just changed things surrounding the pouf in the middle. Usually what is on the pink rug reflects my likes and hobbies, one side is make-up and taking pictures, the other side is painting and plenty of books. I have a lot of books in my cottage now that I think about it.
My favourite piece in the above photo is the white kitten by Half-Deer listening to its own tunes on the iPhone, so cute.
Everyone knows what my blogging desk looks like by now, doesn’t matter what I have removed (or added) it will always be the same clustered, chaotic mess as before. For friends who have seen my real life desk at home, it is exactly the same.
I have been on a roll with taking photos lately on Second Life, though I do not blog for fashion from there anymore, I shop for fun and randomly to save my money.
I have been hit by a creative spark with my photos and it seems because of it, it is reflecting in getting more likes than my usual 20. They have been varying in theme and colour, though pink of course is still present in some of them.
Some of them are focused on the seasons surrounding my avatar, some are focused on the features of my cottage or the new accessories that I have bought at the new round of events. These four pictures I am sharing are my recent shots I have uploaded, the below photo has recieved 47 favourites from the flickr followers, I haven’t recieved many likes in a while so quite happy with this achievement.
Two of them have been a pin-up theme from the recent round of Rewind which is all about the 1940s. The top photo is taken at Elysion sim on the roof of their Luxe theatre where they have burlesque shows every month. The second photo is taken in the comfort of my own pixel home, focusing on the amazing crystal rings by Yummy at this month’s round of Collabor88.
The third photo has a background made by Astralia which is featured in Rewind: 1940s this month and the lingerie is by Moon Elixir for the latest round of ROMP, an adult/kink event. The last photo is taken in a skybox on my home sim featuring the background house made by Foxcity poses for November round of Pocket gacha. The pose itself is also by Foxcity, top by Candydoll and shorts by Villena. My tentacle companion is by Katat0nik from last month’s round of Panic of the Pumpkin.
I know, I know! I said I wouldn’t be doing anymore Second Life fashion tiles and switching more to Polyvore or something along the lines but this inspired me three days ago when I was taking a mush picture with the boyfriend.

I literally haven’t been out and about taking photos in-world as much lately, I have been more so on Polyvore or been participating in my best friend Aria’s amazing pictures. I will shamelessly plug in her flickr right here. I will share about three pictures that I’ve taken over the course of the past few months but the fashion tiles that I normally do of my avatar, I guess I have let go and just take pictures for myself if feeling an inspiration hit.
The above photo was taken at Pink Acid/Black Bantam’s sim using one of the new windlights called ‘Crisp Foliage’, top is by Parfait and shorts by Zenith, so so cute! Before on Second Life I was always wearing pink, denim and black but nowadays my newest pictures have been changing. The mood is Autumn in the northern hemisphere and all the events have been releasing Halloween or fall clothing and I have been ‘swept’ up into it all. My clothes have been black, grey or the random Halloween costume thrown in.
The above photo is against the cherry blossom background by Astralia and I took it in July of this year. I think my fashion tiles that I’ll be sharing on this blog will be more focused from my Polyvore account. Though I am currently taking a break from continuing Ame’s outfits because her chronicles is on hiatus, I am still creating outfits but this time it’s for myself and I have been enjoying it.
While I am on dark and Autumn colours on Second Life with snippets of Halloween costumes, I am still wearing plenty of pink while on IMVU. Though I do have a couple of outfits that are black with the arrival of the spooky month.
There is a much bigger variety of pink rooms and clothes in the IMVU community and that is majority thanks to it’s designers who always keep up with the trends of reality. Though a lot of my clothes are found in the DD/bbg lifestyle, I wouldn’t call myself a babygirl. Didn’t 8 years ago when I first realised my submissive tendencies and not now either being a full fledged submissive into kitten play.
My pink fashion varies between harnesses and tiny skirts to casual white tees and boy shorts that are seen in the comfort of my own home then out in the public eye. Though if the rooms are empty, I might go into them to take a picture of my look of the day. The above two outfits were made before my Europe holiday and I have since changed the hair creator for my avatar since everyone is using Java nowadays..
Sometimes I wish that Second Life implements the fashion that IMVU gives to its users, there is too much kink wear seen even in main stream fashion events”and though I love wearing harnesses and garters, I do like the casual outfits that the tamer pixel universe releases to the public. When it comes to my fashion on IMVU, I have applied what I’ve done on Second Life by searching through favourite creators.
Where the moon filters it’s light upon the Earth, it also casts its shadow. Like the yin to the yang, every person has a light and a dark side including myself. I usually just share my pink outfits and all my light-hearted attitude but I do have a darkness and usually comes through in my fetishes or my love for violence through dark fantasy or action films. I like staying up until very late whether writing my novel or watching Netflix, I find serenity during a full moon and favour Autumn and Halloween though I am born in a southern hemisphere Summer.
I prefer my lingerie black and meshy with faux fur and a weakness for harnesses, garnesses and shibari all together. Give me ribbons to bound and a blindfold to make me blind and it gives me the warm fuzzies in the pit of my stomach. A lot of my moderate photos on Second Life that show a decent amount of flesh I usually buy in the monotone colours while my pixel clothes tend to be in the reds and pink variety. I adore the erotic side of BDSM especially when it comes to kitten play and the Japanese art of shibari though its origin was no way playful and used in the bedroom.
I also like to mix the seductive nature with the violent tendencies that came out when I’m in an irritable mood. My favourite weapon is the katana, I have one in reality that leans on the wall next to my giant fan from Shanghai and it is the main weapon that my original character Ame Hayato wields in her chronicles. My avatar on both IMVU and Second Life have over 5 on each at least and I still keep finding more whenever a creator releases something new in the catalog or a gacha event.
My best friend Katie had told me that males seem to have a strong favour towards Asian women with weaponry, I have no idea that is perhaps the anime/hentai side that has given that appeal especially with girls wearing short skirts but carry weapons as long as their body. I personally love to pose my avatar in the sexy outfits and holding the katana or knives, there is something pleasantly appealing to it and gives me a boost of confidence when complimented on the look or the picture is given a favourite from someone visiting my Flickr.
No new tile today coming from the grid, just a lot of random pictures that I have been taking since returning from my month holiday, I have to admit that the release of cuter, pink items is making a comeback again and I’m so glad it is.
MishMish released an adorable bear in the September round of Collabor88 and it is either a companion, a plushie to cuddle or decoration for your home. Close friends know I have a weakness for teddy bears I see them as the guardians for kids when they sleep, I also still have my very first bear since I was born, One-Eye Jack. The pretty pink building in the background is actually HolliPocket‘s store, there was lag present on the sim so I could take a photo without the furniture inside.
I sometimes visit the very first store that I shopped in back in 2013, it was originally called Crazy Kitty, now renamed Candy Kitten, the owner is Kaci Kohime and she has slowly changed her theme to something that the babygirls in BDSM would love. The sim I’m on hers is her store but this little cafe with ice-cream out the front is outside the main entrance and to the left. My top is by Hilly Haalan, the cute traveller bag with camera is from Reign‘s gacha from the September round of the Arcade, the Hungry necklace is by E.marie from PocketGacha, a new event where there is no sim and you can just play by a hud, no lag, no worries.
Taken in the comfort of my home, see the MishMish bear in the corner, I got two colours, one for a companion the other as decoration in my bedroom. As I have said in previous entries, I am usually quite often parked inside my cottage because it is my safety bubble and comfort zone away from the toxic personalities of the people on Second Life. The outfit I’m wearing is my most comfortable, if not in the pyjamas. The cute hoodie is by Sweet Thing from the current round of Kustom9 and the underwear are by Violent Seduction
If I’m not parked in my cottage I go wandering and usually on my own though this week I have been enjoying the company of one of my best friends online Aria. The above picture is taken outside the main store of Aii, she creates fantasy and Japanese inspired clothing. My garments are made by Zenith in the new round of Kustom9, as always she makes amazing mesh Oriental robes.
I will openly admit this to everyone who comes by my blog, sometimes IMVU has cuter clothes than Second Life, I switch between the two quite often and though we do not walk, run or fly on the IMVU platform, the creators do their best in releasing a lot of adorable clothes.
While the men as always it is a work in progress but that is the same in reality too, more female clothes then men brands, even they look handsome and on point in their clothes. I know this because I dress up my boyfriend’s avatar on IMVU. And like what I do on Second Life after sitting in the dressing room and changing my avatar’s appearance, I test out the look either through photo publishing or go into the heavily populated rooms.
The reception is usually recieved well and I get compliments whether from my friends or from randoms who private message in either world. The furniture detail on Second Life is cuter but there is no limit in how much you can put inside a public room on IMVU. I have three public rooms in that world- my office, a Summer pool and my New York city apartment.
I usually hang out in the apartment as most of you are aware from my previous IMVU posts and I always like to chop and change various corners in that public room as much as I change my avatar’s outfit whenever I log on after a while. I have been on IMVU for 10 years now since August this year and I have watched the progression of the standard avatar change from heavy jewellery and bobble heads to sleek mesh heads and scalers to give more curvature to the base.
This assumption especially said by the Second Life users about IMVU avatars needs to stop, because not all of us look like a 2007 avatar anymore, in fact we look really good.
Fashion tile inspiration is minimal lately as I have been saving up my money for the Europe trip, flying out in two days! Can’t believe it is finally here 😀 But I still take random photos and they are of the pink variation. Sharing four of them here for you all to check out.
This was a random outfit I created on the day, it was after I had done my complete shopping at The Crystal Heart festival and one of my dear friends Misa had created Catwa eyelashes and sent them to me as a gift. I am wearing one of them in the photo above, plus it was a cute outfit complete with holding Artemis in my arms 😛
Top is from The Crystal Heart and the pose is made by Lyriqz Xue, he is going all bento and though majority of his poses are showing the rude fingers he has been making adorable poses including the above. His marketplace store is called Reve Obscura. Taken in the safety of my cottage with a pink windlighting. The sunglasses are by Imeka and hair by Truth.
The final photo is a bit of a nip tease with the bra made by Vision for the new subscription box catering to those of the lifestyle: Bound, I decided to get it after seeing other bloggers share the items on their pages. The Pusheen is from another subscription box that unfortunately has been cancelled due to the maker being dodgy in their transcations. Such a shame too because the designers that released items into that box were always so cute and magic girl. Taken on my home sim but the background is one of Astralia’s designs.
I think the struggle with this new LOTD wasn’t the outfit itself, but finding music! After much browsing through metal, soundtracks, instrumental, electronica, 90s, I’ve gone with Kpop remix and this is LIT! Pictures taken in my cottage
A blog where i tell where i get all my goodies in Second Life and show them off in nice pictures ;) Sl is a fun place where there are a lot of nice clothing! So join me, Aaiyana Silverfall, and explore! :D
