A night of dancing and grandeur awaits the infamous couple in Prague
Looping her two butterfly throwing stars into a makeshift choker around her neck, Ame twirled around in the full-length mirror of the Tower suite’s master bedroom. Wearing an elegant but sheer number by Oscar De la Renta in black, Ame swept her hair over one shoulder and pinned it down with a cherry blossom golden clip. It was the night of the masque ball and surprising enough, she and Aleksander had been invited to attend.
It seemed their infamous presence in Prague had also increased media sales on the rich and famous, the very personalities that enjoyed having all this attention on their collective and greedily included the dangerous couple in all their public events. Ame did not seem to mind, they were on top of their missions and there was still no sight of CIA Julian Huntington III, she was still on guard but she could have fun while she had the time.
Standing next to her and fixing his satin white cravat, Aleksander was completely focused on his appearance, dressed in a three-piece tuxedo. Ame stared up at him and licked her lips grinning, the bedroom and bathroom on the second floor a complete mess from their usual carnal urges finished twenty minutes ago, this time it was Aleksander who suggested they cease if they were to ever reach Prague castle on time.
Aleksander felt Ame’s hungry stare and smirked slightly turning to face her and gesturing to his undone cravat, Ame took a tentative step forward reaching up to tie his cravat for him, her fingers gracing his skin and she paused. “Tsvesti…” Aleksander warned her teasingly, Ame snapped out of her trance and poked her tongue out “I won’t do anything!” and quickly placed the Volkov family badge in the centre of his cravat. Taking a step back, Ame inspected her handiwork and nodded with approval “Done anata”.
Throwing on his overcoat, Aleksander grabbed Ame’s black faux fur shawl and wrapped it around her bare shoulders tenderly, leaning down and kissing across her shoulders “You look stunning” Ame leaned into him and hugged his waist tightly, her henna tattooed hands crawling under his layers of clothing. Aleksander rested his chin on top of her head and held Ame tightly before suddenly grabbing her right hand and attaching a Tiffany bracelet around her wrist. Two single charms hanging from the metal and on close inspection, Ame saw the Volkov shield and a stitched heart.
Staring wordlessly at it, Ame’s lips parted in surprise, she was wearing Aleksander’s family on her bracelet, what did it mean. She looked up into his hazel eyes, seeing them unsure and soft “You’re my life and I hope you accept this gift” Aleksander said quietly, Ame’s face changed to complete tenderness and reaching up on her tiptoes she yanked Aleksander’s lips down to her own. It was her answer and it was enough for him.
Entering the limousine together, Ame felt the other guest’s eyes upon them and she hid the mischievous smile she heard the gossip going through both the employers of the Augustine and the other wealthy couples staying in-house but she did not care. Her hand being held by Aleksander’s; her smile grew wider. She had him and they were going to a fancy masquerade with the richest families in Prague. That was enough for Ame to contend with and any gossip merely boosted her ego.
